I was in CVS and found two bottles of Fish Oil. One bottle said “Fish Oil with Omega 3″, the other bottle said “Natural Fish Oil”. Since the “Natural Fish Oil” was less expensive, I asked the Pharmacist what’s the difference, anticipating her to say no Omega 3 in the “Natural). But, the pharmacist got all “snippy” and said both had Omega 3 and then just walked away. (what a witch). So, does all Fish Oil have Omega 3 or is it an additive?

Answer:
Fish oil naturally has Omega 3 fatty acids. Its possible that the more costly bottle had a higher concentration of Omega 3, but most of the time, the price difference is brand name vs. generic, especially at places like CVS.

Answer:
All fish oil has Omega 3. It occurs naturally. You could also get it by eating fish: good ones are salmon, sardines, mackerel.
