My allergies are acting up SOOOOO much and I feel like I'm dying! Can someone help??? We have no allergy medicine at home right now and I need something
Answer:
Short Term - Visit your local 24-hour Walgreens or Wal-mart, lots of over the counter allergy meds like Claritin, Alavert or Benadryl are available.
Long Term - Have you ever taken prescription meds, like Flonase or Nasonex? Make an appointment with your doctor, he/she will probably prescribe meds first. If they don't work or don't give you enough relief, then you may be referred to an allergist - a doctor specializing in allergies. He/she can suggest you get allergy shots. Keep in mind that if you select allergy shots, you’ve to get them once a week to be effective.
