Believe is not the right word but i cant think of a word to say. i am finding that many people state “pre-diabetes” isn't real. And others say it is very real. If you are having elevated blood sugar that is over normal are you considered diabetic and physicians just don't want to diagnose you or what. Its a tiny confusing.
Answer:
Precancerous cells are neither normal cells nor cancer cells. Since they are not normal cells, they are a condition of cancer, just not full blown cancer. Left untreated they become cancer and cause major health issues and possibly death of the person. Most people understand that precancer is early cancer and don't have a problem with the doctor using the term precancer instead of cancer.
Similarly, prediabetes isn’t normal insulin/glucose function but not yet severe enough to cause significant body damage as full blown diabetes. It is still a condition of diabetes. Left untreated, it too will cause major health issues and possible death of the person. Luckily, prediabetes can be treated with lifestyle changes and maybe medication, rather than sugical removal and chemo. So for many, the apparently less serious treatment for prediabetes leads them to believe it;s not a real condition like precancer is.
Answer:
Every carbohydrate that you eat, takes you toward insulin resistance. When your resistance becomes high, you are pre diabetic. When your resistance is so great that you can not make enough insulin, your blood sugar goes up, and you’re known as a diabetic. The great thing is that when you’re in the pre-diabetic stage, it can be totally reversed. A month or two on a sever carbohydrate restriction will reset your resistance by 10 years. Then all you’ve to do is balance your carbs, fats, and proteins. Stick with the natural saturated fat, as these new fake fats, like trans fats and canola, will kill you.

Bolt's answer was DYNO-MITE!! He stated it all except what I want to say. Anyone who doesn't believe that pre-diabetes is a legitimate diagnosis doesn't WANT to believe it and DOES engage in wishful thinking. I hope they don't engage in that thinking to the detriment of their health. Avoiding the “needle” four or five times a day by prevention sounds so much more sensible!
Answer:
I believe that it is misleading soft sell by doctors who are not doing their patients any favors. I believe you’re diabetic and if you are lucky and your numbers are lower then you’ve better chance at diet control of your condition. The ideal of all worlds. Live a mild health nut and enjoy life as a diabetic with few restrictions.
My thoughts.
