Do you suppose nobel prize winner Dr. Albert Schweizer had any reason to LIE when he said that Dr. Max Gerson had cured him of adult onset diabetes with a vegan live foods diet?????

Answer:
Science and medicine have come a long way in the 40+ years since Dr.Schweizer died. There have been many to claim to “cure” diabetes, but it is important to comprehend that these “cures” only work with some people with type 2 diabetes. Some patients with type 2 diabetes can maintain a proper blood sugar number with a vegetarian diet. There’s debate among physicians as to whether these patients are cured or if they are in remission (there was recently an article on the front page of Yahoo about this topic)

Answer:
Many people lie with no reason all the time. Or sometimes they say something before they realize that they don't yet have all the information.

An all vegan live foods diet is most likely controlling his diabetes. Which is wonderful, every type 2 diabetic should be on a similar diet. But there is no diet that’ll cure it. If he goes off of it, he'll start to head back to where he was before … which means it's not a cure.

Also, this works for Type 2 diabetes. Saying that it's adult onset is misleading, since there are more and more cases of type 1 diabetes appearing in adults (aka LADA) that can’t be treated by diet alone.
