“Eating too much of the wrong foods, especially starches and sugars, can cause insulin resistance. This will result in elevated insulin levels”

i found that quote on the web and was wondering how do i decrease elevated insulin levels

Answer:
Chromium (otc) and metformin (Glucophage).

Answer:
Having increased amount of insulin isn’t from eating the wrong foods. It is the pancreas that sometimes (type 2) manufactures too much insulin, or the body not using the insulin properly. Medication is needed to help reduce the amount of insulin that the body produces or help it use the insulin correctly. The quote is definately misquoted.

Answer:
I have Polycystic Ovaries and have been tested for Insulin Resistance and have it as its common with PCOS - basically you’re supposed to follow a diabetic diet with insulin resistance its also a prediabetic condition and your sugar levels are normal but your insulin levels are high
