I believe its called the Honeymoon phase of Type 1. So how long would it take before your pancreas would begin showing high numbers for a diabetes diagnosis. So if someones pancreas is very slowly decreasing insulin making in the last few weeks how long until it will slowly stop all together. I know this isn’t something that can be answered in a 100% manner. Just what is the normal length of time. Thanks!
Answer:
well, i am a type 1 diabetic and yes, it is called the honeymoon phase. it can take anywhere between two weeks and two years. mine happened to last a little under two years. i think i was lucky because i found out about my diagnosis early so i wasn't all that unhealthy to begin with which i think could be a cause of why mine lasted really long. I was diagnosted with my blood sugar at 377. most diabetics seem to be higher than even 600 and they usually have honeymoon phases lasting shorter depending on their blood sugar number and how unhealthy they were at their diagnosis. no one can know for sure but the healthier you were at diagnosis, i believe the longer your honeymoon phase will last.
Answer:
There’s no set answer. For some the decline can be slow enough that it might take years, for many it takes months, and for others only a few weeks. The longer it takes, the slower the decline obviously, and the gradual rise in blood sugar might not be noticeable or is initially diagnosed as type 2 (happens often to adults who develop LADA type 1)..
Every body is different, (and despite reality bites' incorrect information and rather insulting view of diabetics) not all damage can be repaired by the organ, and not all diabetics caused it through poor lifestyle choices.
Answer:
depend on the lifestyle of the individual. Because what the medical establishment doesn't want you to know is that all the organs of the body has the capability to mend itself.
If the individual continues an unhealthy lifestyle it could be a short time, but if the pay attention to the cries of their body then they will live a long while.
People like insulin shots so that they can continue to deplete the energy of the pancreas while still maintaining the habits that got them a sick pancreas to begin with.
Answer:
I wish I knew how to fix the damage to my organ and reverse the effects of my poor life style that led me to being exposed to Agent Orange while serving in Vietnam. Heck, if I could do that I could cure the cancer in my prostate I picked up over there as well as my type 1 diabetes!
Answer:
I read this day it can take between 5 and 7 years.. but i concur with the 2 year mark.
