I have been suffering from daily nausea for a couple of months now and it is starting to wear on me. I wake up nauseous, mid day nauseous evening gut cramps My stomach is quite bubbly on and off.
I’m now having to rush to the lavatory at times usually 3 to for times in a row. I’ve no fever and I’m always exhausted. I get these bad pains/spasms in my stomach on my right side that keels me over then goes away. I have been tender to the touch on and off on my right to center stomach/abdominal area.
The last time I went to the physician he thought I might have a grumbly appendix, but I am doubting that with how long these symptoms have been going on. The nausea is getting worse.
I like to be well informed before I go to a doctor. Any ideas other then go to my doctor I am going I have an appointment.
Thanks in advance!
Answer:
It could be colon, stomach or gall bladder. You need a UGI, BE and GB study (x-rays)
have your physician refer you to a GI specialist.
Constipation can cause nausea. Try lying on your right side when you sleep, it allows the gas to move out following normal anatomy. Try drinking a glass of warm water first thing in the morning to activate your bowels. Are you lactose intolerant? Drink milk on an empty stomach and see if that doubles you over, if so, you have lactose intolerance. See a gastrointestinal specialist.
It could still be your appendix. Don't put this off! Definitely see another physician for second view. You are giving good description of your symptoms, yet your physician is, basically, ignoring you. It's your body, ask your doctor for a referral if you require a referral

You need to go back to your physician and tell him or her exactly what you told us. You are going to need an extensive workup (x-rays, bloodwork, etc.) to ferret out the cause of your symptoms.
