Actually what you need is thyroid hormone supplementation. There are synthetic versions (levothyroixine) and natural ones from pigs too called Armour. Finding an substitute is not an option - this does not exist. If you are defficient in thyroid hormone - you need just that - thyroid hormone. I mean its like a diabetic without insulin - they would not need an substitute - they need insulin. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Are you sure you’ve an under active thyroid? If so then your physician would have given you some medication. Keep in mind anything sold as a natural supplement does not get FDA approval. You could be taking something harmful or something that makes a calm but does not do anything.
