And if so, what was it? I think I have a swollen lymph node under my left arm, and it hasn't really injured much at all. I already made an appt with the physician, I just want to know what it is- or how serious it is. Has anyone ever had this, and if so, what did it end up being? I’m just freaked out cause I'm a major hypchondriac and I worry that it's a tumor or some awful disease. I've never had it before. Just swollen nodes in my neck from the cold/tonsillitis. HELP!

Answer:
Glad you made an appointment.

This is most likely nothing. Swollen lymph nodes just means your body is fighting an infection. No real surprise, it does this all the time. We only become aware of the battle when we are losing and the symptoms show up.

Get extra sleep and fluids, good healthy diet and chances are it will do gone by the time you see the doctor.

But, it is worth checking. I won't go into the bad stuff it could be because your an admitted hypochondriac and the stress would just make you sick.

PS - chicks in jeeps ;)

Answer:
swollen nodes in general are not a good thing. They mean that something is wrong with your lymphatic system, which helps to flush bad things out of your body. you will have to wait for a dr. opinion tho, it may not be anything. Sorry, for lack of help and good luck!
