Motrin/Advil in “normal” doses with not ruin your kidneys. You would have to have significant decrease in kidney function before kidney damage would occur. There are lots of theories from legitimate sources that the above mentioned drugs are useful in Alzeheimer's prevention.
Answer:
It's not good for you at all to take it if you feel fine because it will ruin your kidneys. Btw, Advil/Motrin is NOT a narcotic pain reliever- it's not mentally addictive - why would you want to take it if you're not having pain anyway?
