? for those with Tourette's. How do you do on your medication? If you have a child that has it and is on meds, what med and how do they do on it or how do you do on it if you have it? What does it do for you? Please answer. My son has it now, we believe (from what the family physician said). I am so scared and worried for him. Also when they first take the medication, how long does it take to take effect, for them to supress the ticks somewhat? He is so humiliated at school and children will make fun of him (I am thinking about home schooling). He is getting worse by the day (this weekend). He didn't go to school yesterday and he just developed the ticks about 3 days ago. He’d the noise (like an mmnneh noise but the docs thought it was his asthma). I have been crying for 2 days now. I can't stop.
Please any help would be appreciated.

Please don't make any huge decisions about his schooling until the medication has had a opportunity to work (I don't know what was prescribed, so I can't offer much advice there) and you’ve had time to process this.
