Should I still go through with the test, or postpone it and reschedule if symptoms reappear? My doctor told me that he didn't feel that there was anything seriously wrong with me, but that my body might be changing due to dietary changes, etc. He ordered the colonoscopy more for my “peace of mind” than anything. Any serious thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated!
Answer:
Since he scheduled it for your peace of mind, you can cancel it and then reschedule it if symptoms reappear, since your doctor already gave you the goahead. However, if you proceed with having it done and they find something, you will be glad that you did.
Answer:
Get it done, it will be over with…though a tiny uncomfortable…but it will be like te doc states, peace of mind. Superior safe then sorry right! But I hope it is nothing and that it is just deitary changes, but just make sure! Hope for the best! Good luck!
Answer:
I'd have a word with the Physician again and tell him that you don't have the symptoms anymore and let him make the decision. If he ordered it for your peace of mind maybe you should still go ahead.
Answer:
Still go, better safe then sorry. Not a fun procedure but it's better than terminal illness;)
Answer:
if you’re over 40, do it anyways since it needs to be done.. If your younger i would just wait. Are you sure your just not scared and thats why you’re speaking yourself out of needing it?
Answer:
Still go!
Answer:
Yes, go through with the test. You’ll know for sure there’s nothing wrong, and they can remove any polyps while they’re in there. Colon cancer is completely preventable this way.
