I’m 16 and I am currently on 50mg topamax for my migraines. At first with the 10mg i had nothing wrong. But with the 50mg when I would switch in between classes and sit down. Its like I’m dizzy and cannot see for like 5 minutes. What causes this?
Also this year i have to take Physical Education and should I’ve my physician to write a note to my teacher that i have this so he won't think I’m just getting out of it. Or just ignore it?
Answer:
Yes you should have your physician write a note, but you don't have to have the doctor go into detail as this is your personal buisness.
It sounds like you went up in your prescription too fast. I would advocate taking half the dosage in the morning and half at night, then move up to the way you’re taking it now.
Good luck!
