my husband spent the night drinking with his friends and now he is complaining that his uvula is lower and he can feel it. i think that sorta odd and i'm wondering if we should go to the hospital, what do you think?
Answer:
This is a fairly common condition called Uvulitis. You don't need to go to the hospital unless he thinks it is affecting his breathing. It can be allergic or infectious. If it started after drinking a lot of alcohol, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Try some benadryl and watch it for 24 hours. It will likely resolve on it's own.
