What’s that?
Oh my god.. my father won't tell me much. He just keeps saying “it's okay. no matter what happens its gonna be okay” Like wtf. I'm so scared I'm gonna cry. Is this easily treatable? Or what? No one will tell me anything.
I dont want my mom to die. She's my best friend shes been there for me through everything shes taught me so much. I pray that what she has isnt anything too serious.
Help.

Nina Sweetheart I am so feeling your pain and panic right now. I know what it is like to have that sort of news about a parent.
People have been kind in giving you sites to look at but quite honestly darling I think your head will be in such a panic and a whirl at the moment that you wouldn't fully take in what you were reading and misinterpret it causing more worry than you’ve at the moment!
Two main functions of the pancreas is to produce enzymes to break down food and to produce insulin to keep the blood sugar stable.
The chances are quite high that it will be operable. If not there’s radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. There ARE treatments but obviously I don't know the whole story so I can only tell you things generally without actually knowing your mum's circumstances.
Don't feel that your dad is shutting you out, remember he is in shock too and he doesn't quite know what to say to you yet.

Well here’s a site for information, it is a very serious cancer and sometimes hard to get rid of but by no means hopeless. Read all you can about it and let her know you are there for her. I am so sorry, I hope she does well with treatment.
