Can an 11 year old work at a restaurant or a store temporally? I mean like just for the summer?

no the child labor law says u have to be 14 to work legally in the US. if it's a family business they can help out but not be paid and it can't be a manual labor job. they can like clear dishes or sweep stuff like that.

Not so much in the U.S., there are these things called child labor laws. Technically if no one finds out you could get away with cash payments although if caught severe penalties will follow.
