I have a fever of 102…bored to death at home :(..

should i just sleep to let time go by?

Or should i go to the hospital…!?

ughh i was suppose to go too new york today :( :( :(

Answer:
Actually, 102 is not that high of a temp. Go get a bottle of ibuprofen, take a couple and go to bed.

Answer:
Anything above normal is a fever. The degree of the fever doesn't matter as much as how long you have had it and how you feel. If you’re truly lethargic and so drained that getting out of bed is a problem, you should be evaluated by a doctor. However if your fever is a one or two day thing, and you’re with it enough to be bored, just ride it out.

If you are uncomfortable, you can take a fever reducer such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin). Make sure to follow the package directions and warnings. But the ideal thing to do is to not take anything and let your immune system do its work, and a fever says it is on the job.

And please, stay at home and don't get any of the rest of us sick!

Answer:
Anna's right - Tylenol or Motrin for fever reduction and mild discomfort; a tepid bath, some extra fluids and some sleep. And stay home - you don't want to spread your germies around …. or pick up any more at the airport…. ew! Take care, get better.
