How long after you come in contact with a person with strep throat will your symptoms show if you catch it?

i was at a party on saturday night. the hostess was fine saturday night, and the first couple of hours of sunday morning. but at about 2:30, she got really sick, and now she has strep throat. i slept in the same bed as her, and was around her the whole time. how long before i know if i have strep?

All of my family had it and well you just need to go get the strep test. It does suck but there is a good chance u have it and a good one you don't have it. I was very thankful and lucky I didn't get it. But I hope everything turns out ok. If you do have it you take a pill for like 7 days and it gets rid of it. Plus after the first day you take the pill or 5 hours you can't give it to someone.

No idea. BUT , a word of encouragement: I got strep at least once a yr. when I went to public school now I'm homeschooled so I don't worry about it,but the point is - it won't last long , you won't die from it , and you can get prescriptions for it.
