Is it ridiculous to wipe any mails & packages arriving from outside home with antibacterial wipes just in case they’ve swine flu viruses on them?
Answer:
That's going to the extreme. Usually virus will not survive for more than 2 hours. Unless, your postal carrier has some sort of virus, it is almost impossible to catch virus from your mail. But you should always wash your hands anytime you handle something from the outside, just to avoid germs and what ever.
Answer:
It's defiantly ridiculous!!! Unless you are germaphobic than don't wipe your packages and mail with wipes. The virus only lives on object for 2-8 hours and even if your mail man had swine flu they would make him stay home and they would do the disinfecting for you.
