my roommate in college and i share a tiny room the size of a walk-in closet :/
for over a month now she has been sick and i told her many times to maybe see the clinic about her health or to rest a bit more.
She refused the clinic and her idea of getting superior has been and still is sleeping while she should be in class and then going out to celebrations till morning and shopping with her friends/going out.
So if she develops bronchitis, not my deal anymore, however, she finally reached in catching me sick!
I am much more studious than her. I go to each class and do all my homework/study constantly.
I am in an entrepreneurial society so i have to do lots with them too.
I need to get more scholarships to help pay for school so I NEED to keep my grades up so I cannot ditch classes like her — plus I have more/harder classes.
Anyways, I’ve an important event this Friday and I really don't want to be sick for it. Please suggest any tricks to get better quicker — medicines, herbal remedies, foods, anything!!!
Thank you!!!><

Sounds like you got the nasty. Don't blame your roommate, its not her fault, actually. Roommates are roommates, and they are mostly the same. No sense in hating on her because you caught something– you very well could have caught it elsewhere.
ANYWAY
At the FIRST ONSET of nasty symptoms, immediatly consume 1 gram of vitamin C. Thats 2 500 mg tablets. Take another two before bed. Do not exceed 2 g in a day, maximum of 4 tablets.
There is no scientific evidence for huge vitamin C doses to repair you, however, it does seem to just help your body clobber a nasty fit of whatever you have.
Sore throat? Didn't see that, but if it is, take listerine brand mouthwash, and grant it to drain to the very very back of your throat. it will probably burn, it might trigger the gag reflex, but let it sit as far back as you can let it go for a few seconds. You want the whole back of your throat coated with the minty goodness. I treat my sore throats at onset this way and havn't had a 2 day sore throat since my second year of college– 6 years ago.
Next, you need plenty of sleep. Spend all day thursday in bed\at home if possible. If you need to miss a couple classes, DO IT, because its better to miss a class than to be sick for it, not absorb the information, and get your classmates sick. Coughing during class is tacky. Continue the vitamin C regimine in addition to any other remedys.
DO NOT take vitamin supplements. I don't know what you have, but certain metals, zinc and iron, actually feed the bacteria that are living in you, in the case of infection, and don't contribute to your immune defense.
Follow other suggestions of plenty of water and plenty of food.
Answer:
WATER!!!!!!!! Gallons and gallons… also you can go see your physician. And drugstores have medicanes that may stop the symptoms. If your nose is clogged, run a VICS humidafyer at night. It will cure both of you! (make sure to add the minty medicane into the water) It will make you feel superior!
Good Luck!
Answer:
lots of sleep and rest, zicam or airborne each 4 hours, hot tea with honey, vitamins I like centrum, sounds more like you have the flu though and you won't get superior by fri if you do
