Author: admin

In oct 08 had sex with couple of guys after 4 monthes got blood tested and it came back negativ do I still at risk to be infected? if after that haven't had sex with anyone else

Answer:
More than 98% of people who have HIV would test positive within 3 months after infection. In very rare cases, it could take up to 6 months for someone to test positive. For peace of mind, get tested again 6 months after your last possible exposure.

Answer:
Usually they will test at 1 month, then 3 months, then again at 6 months. Some doctors will even test at 1 year to make sure. I would recommend condoms if you plan on seeing multiple partners. Sex is great, but not worth your life.

Answer:
The window period is 6 months. If you had unprotected sexual relations get yourself tested again.

Be safe and use protections. Is your life and your choices can affect others.

Answer:
HIV tests aren't usually considered reliable till at least 6-8 months after sexual intercourse.

I'd hold off on any more random guys to sleep with…

Answer:
get tested again.
