Hatred and prejudice, they like greed, are the emotional and spiritual afflictions that can lead to physical diseases like, cancer, high blood pressure and stroke, not to mention how many people are on psychotropics for a plethora of mental and emotional disabilities. Everything negative such as chronic stress, fear and unhappiness or constant anger, lead to deadly diseases.

I'd have to agree with cancer. More cases are being reported due to the lack of knowledge decades ago when removing certain building materials (asbestos) with unkown carcinogenic effects. Add also the cancers gained from a lifetime of smoking.

Stress/depression are both treated now as an illness, with uppers or downers and both can be dealt with much easier with relaxation therapies; they are NOT an illness. Stress is a way of being aware of danger and is inherent in all animals;and WE are human animals.Couselling is the answer to most people with depression. A problem is really just an unresolved situation. Find the answer; problem gone.
