Hi and thank you in advance for any answers. I've been sick off and on since December. I had acute bronchitis then and again had it about 3 weeks ago. The difference this time is they gave me a stronger antibiotic but it didn't seem to work. I finished the antibiotic but still feel really sick. I was also given inhalers. Recently, I developed a severe pain by my right rib. I went in to get an xray and they said I was fine. Nurse said it's just torn muscle? they also said my bronchitis was gone. They just prescribed ibuprofen and prescription cough med. That was a week ago. I am still wheezing, runny nose, coughing to the point I throw up, and I get random low grade fevers, and I still have pain on my rib. Has anyone ever experienced this? I hate to go to the doc again I've been there 3x and i have no medical insurance. I read online that mold gives you similar reactions? If i have mold in my house can that make me sick? Thanks again
Answer:
Yes! Absolutely mold can cause bronchitis. However, it may not be mold. I went through something very similar and SWORE it was the mold in the school I was working in. And it even got better when I moved to a different school. For a while…However, this new doctor I have has me on a new regimen of inhalers, allergy meds (leuktrienes rather than antihystamines is a BIG thing for people with lung issues!!), and nose inhalers for allergies. It all really helps. The pain probably is muscle related and wont show on xrays. I know what it is like to cough till you throw up. Ask for a nebulizer. When you are at that point you need the strength of the meds in an inhaler but the strenght of the nebulizer.
Good luck!!
Answer:
Yes mold can make one very sick, and that depends on the mold. The first thing you need to do is to determine if indeed you have a mold problem. Have you had a recent water leak, leaking roof, or other water source? If the answer is yes then it warrants investigation.
Answer:
Yes, studies have shown that 90% of acute sinus IS fungal related.
No antibiotics don't work against fungus micro toxens.
Most doctors just don't get it.
Natural anti fungel agents: natural cinnamon, fresh garlic, oil of oregeno, olive leaf extract. all can be found in health stores. There are anti fungal meds if you can find a doctor to perscribe them.
Answer:
yes mould has spores that you can breathe in……….. get some household bleach water it down a little and clean it all away
Answer:
If you're allergic to mold then yes, that can develop as a result.
I pretty much have the same problem you have (though my severe pain is in my lower left chest), though it's not mold induced. I think its more stress induced, and the hereditary evil sinuses @_@ Apparently I'm more prone to sinus infections and bronchitis and the like, and thats what causes my issues, though this winter it's been alot worse then it's ever been before.
