I have gone through 3 antibiotics and now they say my lungs have some inflammation they could see on xray and now I am on steriods and they want to put me on another antibiotic. I’ve heard from the hospital here that there’s a lot of people with a resistant form of bronchiatis that medicine isn't working on. Are there any more of you like me?
Answer:
I'm sorry to hear your having this difficulty. Some strains of bacteria are becoming resistant. This is an ongoing problem and the CDC and the pharmaceutical companies are doing everything they have the ability to about it. Different motives of course but at least they're trying. Your doctor will just have to keep trying. Please hang in there, drink plenty of water, take any meds the dr orders and rest. Make sure you rest. Relaxing gives your body a opportunity to heal itself. That really is true.
God bless and help you through this.
And as long as you're sick you know you can't do housework, cook or do dishes or anything else.Milk it for all it's worth.
Answer:
A couple of years ago, I had 3 bouts of bronchitis in a row. My physician wanted to put me on a steroid that I'd have to take each day.
I don't like steroids. So, I decided to go off of milk. I didn't drink a lot of it, maybe just 2-3 cups a week. Since I've gone off of milk, I haven't had bronchitis.
Answer:
I had bronchitis three years ago, and it took over a month to go away. I had to take two different antibiotics because it was resistant to the first one.
