I’ve bronchitis, and it seems to be getting worse. With more symptoms. I had pneumonia when I was a kid a few times. I’ve a serious immune deficiency that makes me more susceptible to serious infection. I had RSV when I was in grade 4 the only one in the province at the time that had it. Shingles when I was 14. (Chicken Pox 3 times as a child) The part the worries me the most is that I am 24 weeks pregnant, with my second child. I cant get into see my physician just yet, and I don't want to go to the hospital over nothing. So if someone has some useful info that would be great. Some of the new symptoms I have are; chest pain, white sputum and greenish yellow. Dizzy and disoriented . Exhausted. Serious answers only please!
Answer:
no it does not sound like you have chronic bronchitis, chronic bronchitis is when you’ve bronchitis for several months at a time every year and no it isn’t life or death serious if it is treated, the only time it can become that serious is if it develops into pneumonia. Unfortunately is does sound like you have pneumonia associated bronchitis, I currently have the same thing I have what my doctor calls acute chronic bronchitis, its acute because its isn't long lasting but chronic because i get it several time a year because of my allergy, this time i waited a little too long to see the dr and i had to go to the hospital and i had a fever of 102.5 pulse of 158 extremely dizzy and having hot and cold flashes extremely hot and coughing. They did a lung x ray and said i had walking pneumonia. If you’re pregnant i think you should see a dr or go to the hospital asap! it can be difficult for them to find the right meds for you to take because you are pregnant and having a fever or low blood oxygen level can be very risky for your baby.
hope everything goes well, get some rest
Answer:
See the doctor immediately. It seems you may have chronic bronchitis. And that’s very, very serious — life and death serious. On the other hand, it may turn out that you only have a cold. But it is not worth taking a risk, especially as you’re pregnant and have a history of falling sick often. Even if going to the doc does not help you, it will certainly help your baby.
Good luck! I really hope it is nothing serious.
Answer:
I'm sorry momma but you should go to the hospital or clinic if you are unable to see your doctor. Your symptoms are pretty serious for someone with compromised immunity.
Especially since you’re pregnant…. I bet your blood oxygen level is poor right now, and that is dangerous for an unborn baby.
