my friend, megan, is having this real bad cough all of the sudden, and she keeps getting dizzy, and when she coughs her side hurts really bad.
her friend, laura, said she could have a punctured lung, but i don't know.
when she gets dizzy, she was playing volleyball, at her v-ball game. so yeah. (over heated? it was really hot in there)
and idk what the cough is.
maybe just getting sick? what do you think?
(the cough is like short short coughs that go on for a long time.)

Punctured lung…..don't think that it is a possibility. If her lung was punctured she would be extremely bad off and have an extremely hard time breathing. So that theory, I think you’re right on by thinking it is something else.
When you’ve a coughing fit, it causes your intercranial pressure to rise. The ideal way I think I can explain it to you is like your blood pressure is high in your head. That can make you feel dizzy. Plus coughing is more of a forced exhalation, therefore she is getting rid of a lot of CO2 causing the vessels in her head to constrict.
All in all it is just natural reaction from the coughing fit. Good observations…. over heated…. pretty good call too… that can definitely be a factor.
