Do all kids who have sleep apnea experience daytime sleepiness? Or can a child have sleep apnea without that particular symptom?

failure to thrive (weight loss or poor weight gain)
mouth breathing
enlarged tonsils and adenoids
problems sleeping and restless sleep
excessive daytime sleepiness
daytime cognitive and behavior problems, including problems paying attention, aggressive behavior and hyperactivity, which can lead to problems at school

In my experience, kids are often diagnosed with ADHD. They are so exhausted that they can not concentrate and tend to “bounce of the wall”
Everyone with sleep apnea have a variety of symptoms.

my son just had his tonsils and adenoids out due to possible sleep apnea. He’s 2 1/2. He was never sleepy during the day even though he hardly slept at night either. Probably due to his autism… so the answer is no because my son didn't
