ive cut for a while now and just stopped like a month ago. but how do i hide my scars….besides the obvious clothing options… my parents dont know so i cant like ask them to buy me anything with out being suspicious… are there any home remodies or just makeup tips i can use…. it would really help cause i want that part of my life to be over and every time i look at the scars its a constant reminder of what an idiot i was… thanks :)

my scars never totally went away and it's been years now…but maybe it's just because I didn't apply anything on them to make them heal faster.
You can try rubbing in different oils: olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil
vitamin E
I guess you can try tea tree oil and see if that helps
neosporin or mederma if you’ve one of those lying around the home
aloe vera
you can take Vitamin C internally and apply it topically to try and speed up healing
you can apply honey and wrap it up with a cloth or put bandages on it.
If you can get to a Walgreens without your parents you can get Bio oil~that's around $10.
And also if you eat a lot of vegetables/fruits and take Cod liver oil or Flax seed oil along with vitamin C and Shark liver oil capsules it will help your skin heal faster

You can try covering them up with makeup but I remeber that didn't really work for me….but mineral powder makeup would work best and depending on where exactly the scars are maybe you can wear those cuff/tight bracelets until the scars heal.

I'm glad that you stopped cutting yourself and that you were able to move past that stage in your life, hopefully you’re doing well these days and have found different ways to deal with your emotions and problems.
Best of Luck : )

I can't tell you how to hide the scars, but I can say that I was a cutter, I would go for sometime between cutting, and then something would happen and I would cut again, it has been at least 10 years since I cut, but I still have a hard time when I see a razor blade. I am happy to hear you have not cut in a month, but please see a therapist as from someone who knows a month isn’t a very long time, and what ever made you cut in the first place may come up again, and a physician can give you the tools to work through the cutting, for me it was a way to take emontional pain away and make it physical. If you can't speak to your parents, can you speak to a school counsler, or a parent of a friend you trust, you are so young to be going through this, I’ll check back to see how you’re doing. Please take care and if you feel the urge to cut get on the web and try to find someone to speak to to help you through it.

sending this to you with much love,
Trudi

im guessing some cover up should work prettty well, congrats on stopping yourself from going down a bad road =]… and it should remind you of the fact that you overcame that stage in your life

Answer:
Bio-oil from your local drug store.
That's all I got.
I scar easily myself, and that's a good investment.
